The Circle Journey
Receiving the word implanted which is able to save the soul…. James 1:21
12-13 days to go “further up and farther in,” partnering in a gospel practicum. 2025 Journey plans and dates are currently in flux…we’ll post them here when we have them.
What We Do There
We press into the heart of the Father, walking into a full gospel, discovering the saving of the soul––identity, freedom, service. Our opening days are spent in discipleship training, discovering Christ in you––>You in Christ––>You and Christ hidden together in God (Col. 1:27; 3:3) And then, an adventure into a gospel practicum. Coming to an authentic belief in the power of the Gospel through hands-on experience (Rom. 1:16-17).
Traveling with a full production rig (staging, lighting, live band, sketch comedy team, etc.), we offer three-day mini-youth camps on the campuses of the missions and group homes that we visit. The residents at these homes and missions are not usually children, but mostly teenagers; in some cases, young mothers and fathers. The majority of the teens are not in residence because mom and dad have passed away. They are there due to abject poverty; mom or dad (or both) are in jail; they have been adjudicated; or (at one of the homes we visit), they have been rescued and and are being rehabilitated from sex trafficking. Whatever the reason, they are young men and women in need of the rescue of Jesus.
Two things happen on these tours: 1) The kids at these missions and group homes receive the gospel and learn who they can become in Jesus! They get loved on and honored by their peers (our team) in ways they least expect. Important seeds are planted. 2) Our team is exposed to the hard that is present in our Western culture. We have the opportunity to trust the gospel to do what it says it can do. It teaches our team how to identify the marginalized in their own communities. It is approximately thirteen days of battle and blessing that few will forget. In short, it is a full gospel practicum.
